(comment) A frame manuscript of "Berserk" that was removed from the main story due to self-regulation. The episode in which this manuscript was originally supposed to be published is titled "Guardian Angel of Desire 2" and is included in the October 1990 issue of "Animal House" and in the comics at the beginning of the volume 2. In this important episode, the Count's past is revealed by Vargas, who was once a doctor at the castle, and the role of Beherrit and the existence of Godhand are told from Guts' mouth accordingly. This manuscript falls under the category of large panel, which occupies the upper 2/3 of the 8th page, and is a shocking flashback scene in which the Vargas family is captured while trying to escape from the castle, and their wife and child are eaten by the Count. In the early 90s, a person who was helping Miura Kentaro at his workplace was given to him by Miura himself, and at the time, there was the "harmful comic disturbance" as social issue in Japan, and he was told that he was unable to post it because the editorial department had self-imposed restrictions on the expression of cannibalism, in which the count swallows people in the form of humans. In the published version, the count has been changed from a human to a deformed figure, and the background and accessories have been adjusted to a less intense content, but if you check the previous page of the scene, you can see that it is structured to lead to this original manuscript. Although it is an unused manuscript for a bizarre scene, the fact that it was deleted against your will also means that it reflects the writer's true intentions, and we will not contain our emotions that the unknown manuscript by Miura Kentaro was such a "Berserk" expression (Yamatani)
