The episode in which this manuscript was originally supposed to be published is titled "Guardian Angel of Desire 2" and is included in the October 1990 issue of "Animal House" and in the comics at the beginning of the volume 2. In this important episode, the Count's past is revealed by Vargas, who was once a doctor at the castle, and the role of Beherrit and the existence of Godhand are told from Guts' mouth accordingly.
