(comment) This DX combination set was released in 1979 when Mobile Suit Gundam was airing. It retailed for 5800 yen. Clover had previously produced toys for Sunrise robot series such as Zambot 3(1977) and Daitarn 3 (1978), and this product is said to have been produced based on a semi- Final Script. The First Edition is characterized by the copyright notice on the lower lower left of the upper box , which only reads "Sotsu Agency/ Nippon Sunrise." Unlike the anime, it prioritizes the toy's appearance, using many silver metal plating parts, and includes weapons not featured in the anime, such as the Javelin. While the anime wasn't a huge hit due to its somewhat complex content for elementary school children, the toy, being a conventional DX combination set, is extremely rare in its complete condition (Stickers unused and runner parts not yet cut ), making it highly valued among collector.
